White porcelain light. I form the dome shape by pressing some porcelain into a mould. Adding & removing as I go to make a textured dome in thickness which creates a mottled glow. Once the dome is dry enough a thin layer of slip is added & let dry once more. Once ready I carve the surface, highlighting areas with needles. The finer etched areas allowing more light through.
These lights can be hung as pendant lights by a bed, over a kitchen island or wherever you are inspired. They can also be laid on their side as a desk lamp.
The lights come with either a black or natural plug in 3.5m cable. The fittings take a E27 screw in bulb. Depending on the type of bulb you use, you will get different shades of light through the porcelain surface. I have used a warm bulb in the photos.
